Outreach and Participatory workshop, The Royal Textile Academy, Thimpu

The Royal textile academy of Bhutan was instituted in May 2005 under the patronage of Her Majesty Ashi Sangay Choden Wangchuck as a non-government, non-profit organization.

Around 50 students from Motithang Higher Secondary School were taught block printing, weaving, and tie and dye by the KNMA team. The work they produced during the course of the workshop were displayed at the Academy and they received their participation certificates and gifts from the Cabinet Secretary of Bhutan.
