The program included a two-day performance ‘Blackening V’ on May 4th and 5th where Chopra responded to the commercial mall environment in which the museum is located. This was followed by a three-day intensive workshop ‘Body Work’ from 7th to 9th May, which culminated with a talk ‘Memory Drawing’ by Nikhil Chopra where he explained his performances which center on inhabiting spaces, bridging the gap in a way between art and life, and finding a space that is between his own history and the history of the location.
