Let The Act Speak Condolence Meeting In Memory Of Late Ambadas

KNMA and DAG jointly hosted a condolence meeting in memory of the respected artist Late Ambadas who passed away in May 2012 in Oslo, Norway. The artist was born in Akola, India in 1922 and received his diploma from the JJ School of Art in 1952. He was one of the founding members of Group 1890 and received the National Award by Lalit Kala Akademi in 1963. Art Historian and director of KNMA, Roobina Karode, senior art critic and DAG’s head of exhibitions and publications, Kishore Singh, art critic Kalidas, veteran artist Himmat Shah, and art critic Prayaag Shukla spoke on this occasion and shared their thoughts to commemorate and life and works of Ambadas.
