Artist Bio:

Sanjay Kumar, Head of the Department of Visual Arts at Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak, is a renowned printmaker and painter with over three decades of experience. An MFA graduate from Jamia Millia Islamia, his works have been showcased in prestigious exhibitions worldwide, including the International Print Biennial and Lalit Kala Akademi shows.

Recipient of numerous awards, including the National Academy Award for Printmaking, Sanjay is celebrated for his expertise in natural pigments and eco-conscious art practices. His work is featured in prominent collections like the National Gallery of Modern Art, New Delhi, and international museums in Germany and China. Sanjay’s workshops inspire artists to blend tradition with sustainability.
