Felicitation Of Noted Poet And Art Critic Keshav Malik

KNMA hosted a felicitation ceremony for noted poet and art critic Keshav Malik on his 88th birthday, for his contribution in the field of art and literature. Keshav Malik served as the art critic for The Hindustan Times and the Times of India. He published ten volumes of poetry and edited six anthologies of English translations of Indian poetry. He was awarded the Padma Shri in 1991 and in 2004 was made a Fellow of the Lalit Kala Akademi for lifetime contribution.
Art Historian and director of KNMA, Roobina Karode, DAG’s head of exhibitions and publications, Kishore Singh, art critic Prayaag Shukla and art critic and art writer Ella Dutta ruminated on the art criticism and art writing in India. The event concluded with showcasing of a documentary film on Malik by poet and painter Sangeeta Gupta.
